As we get to this time of the year, there can be a lot of changes. Maybe it is a school change. Going from middle school to high school, high school to college, one grade to the next. Maybe it is new friends. Maybe your family is moving away. Maybe you have changed this past year and you don’t know what you are supposed to do next. No matter what it is, it is different.

For me, I have been finding a lot of lasts, last paper, last day of school, graduation...and a few firsts…going into the real world and looking towards what God will have me do next.

We need to take advantage of this growing time and remember that God says that there is a time and season for every activity under Heaven.

In God’s Word, He says:

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

1-There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:

2-a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3-a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,

4-a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5-a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

6-a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,

7-a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8- a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

These are some of my favorite verses. They talk about all different things that you go through. No matter what time and season you are going through, no matter what firsts or lasts you are having,

Remember that God is with you.

Here is my blessing for you:

Numbers 6:24-26

24-"The LORD bless you
and keep you;

25- the LORD make his face shine upon you
and be gracious to you;

26-the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace."

Have a blessed summer!
